As you can already see clearly from roadside of Dangaster Strasse, the construction of the reject recovery plant is progressing steadily. In the meanwhile, we also received notice of approval from authorities.
Since the start of construction in August 2017, a lot has happened. The reject recovery plant inside the 22m high building is almost completely installed and is expected to go into operation in September. Until then, the remaining work on the building and the plant will be completed. In near future all rejects from waste paper recovery in our mill will be transformed to fuel pellets, which will be given to approved thermal recyclers. The drying and pelletizing of the rejected plastics significantly reduces the truck capacity compared to the collection of formerly untreated material, which is much more watery and bulky.
