  • Environmental Management Systems DIN EN ISO 14001
Environmental protection plays an important role in our society these days. In addition to factors such as reliability, price and quality, a company's environmental performance is an even more important issue.

We have been certified according to the Environmental Management System ISO 14001 since 2009. This underscores our environmentally- and resource friendly production, which has been based on waste paper since the 50s.

Being environmentally responsible means more than just complying with legislation. Having an environmental management system that aims to continuously improve adverse environmental impacts, is of great support.

  • OSH Management Systems ISO 45001
Occupational safety is very important to us. For this reason, we have implemented an OSH management system according to BS OHSAS 18001 in 2012. Since November 2019 we haven been certified by ISO 45001.

An OSH management system aims to prevent accidents at work, work-related injuries and illnesses and also to protect the health of employees in the workplace. Our employees are regularly made aware of the issues related to occupational safety, because nowadays improper conduct is one of the most common causes of accidents, unfortunately.

We are also keen on maintaining and promoting the health of our employees. Some examples: a vast variety of company sports, seminars related to health and comprehensive care by a company doctor.

  • FSC® Chain of Custody Certification
We have been certified according to the FSC® standard since 2010. The basic idea of this certificate is the conservation of forests as a major global habitat for countless animal and plant species as well as being a global carbon store. Environmentally and socially responsible paper production was confirmed for our products. We have been working with fibrous waste paper since our inception and have therefore met the demand for sustainable paper production for many years.

The abbreviation "FSC®" stands for "Forest Stewardship Council®", a non-profit global organisation, which also operates a working group in Germany (headquarters: Freiburg). As an actual consequence of the UN environmental conference in Rio de Janeiro developed in 1992, the FSC® has developed social and economic standards to protect forests and at the same time serve the interests of the people living in them.
